Yes they are shrinking. Everyone is dying! Our old congregation was made up of 90% seniors!

It wasn't a big deal to me because I was going to find out soon enough anyways, but it was the principle of it. On top of that, I was told there was a HUGE talk that kept drilling in the point of obeying and going to whatever congregation we were told to go to no matter what the circumstances! What if going to a certain congregation is hindering your spirituality?! Anyways, I will hear it first hand tonight and I will probably follow up on this.

Very true. Thats probably why they are on a frantic campagne to recruit more men. They are constantly saying the need to go at a time when men are at home, or if the woman answers, then ask for the man of the house. So very true

They probably are going to try at some point. but for now its really hard because the house of cards would come tumbling down if they didnt find something else to support their doctrines on. The could also just fade it out by just refering to it less, but they seem to still be gung ho on the date for now.
